DC Climate Week is dedicated to exploring the challenges of the climate crisis and discovering the solutions that give us hope.
As part of the all-volunteer team behind the first-ever DC Climate Week, I led brand messaging, storytelling, and content strategy across web, email, and beyond—helping translate a massive, multi-stakeholder effort into a cohesive and inspiring narrative. Working alongside tirelessly creative + motivated collaborators, we brought the inaugural event to life: over 150 events, 4,700+ attendees, and 37,000 website visitors in its first year. From launch messaging to the week’s recap reviews, we shaped a shared voice that reflected the movement’s purpose—making DC Climate Week not just an event, but the beginning of a local climate legacy.
